misusing their power

is just how evil

you offer it up everyday
for someone else to validate
and love you because you have
no love for yourself
that you think so little of who
you are

So I awoke and saw the masses
turned into things
they were objects of possession
instead of men
instead of women
instead of children

numbers that made the eyes swell
and I looked again
and saw people
and not sheep
I saw individuals
and not brands
I saw life
and they were real
and not pull into a wall
not make into bricks
and not made into food
for the rich to consume

1 being the worst and 10 being the best
but they all are 1
they all are 10
those are the extremes
I would be zero
the zero moment
the zero hour
the moment of no time
the moment of reality
the moment to say

all of this is a lie
propagated for
the wizard
who teases those
who look for a heart
who look for courage
who look for a brain

and you laugh
when you shake their hand
and realize there is no mystery
it is a flim
it is a flam
