Disappointing many royal watchers, HM The Queen has decided to keep Windsor Christmas celebrations at Sandringham to just family this year. That means that Prince William’s longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton, who has attended the last three years, will not be invited. In addition neither Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy, nor Zara Phillip’s longtime boyfriend rugby star Mike Tindall will be in attendance either. HM the Queen has decided that she wants to spend this Christmas with just her close family.
Kate is said to be “very disappointed”, but respectful of the decision. She will be spending Christmas Day and Boxing Day with her family and is slated to meet up with William shortly after the holiday. This will put the engagement rumors on hold, at least for the week, as many thought that around the holiday would be the announcement that William and Kate were, at last, engaged.

I confered with my “Guides” last night when I read the story.. and they confirmed the fact… YES.. She is indeed in a BOX. They must be using the last of her “Clones”!!
umm…why is she in a box?
Because the final clone of The Queen has been shut down – no longer needed.
Why are clones no longer needed?
Just the clone of QE II, from what I understand, is not needed anymore as the Monarchy has been revamped.
Does that mean the original QEII is long dead and they’ve been using clones to present as her, or is she still around?
I believe you are correct with the fact that she has been a clone for a long time.
I’m curious to see what happens on Christmas Day — it is a national tradition that the Queen addresses her subjects for about 15 minutes at 3:00 p.m. Going to be interesting to see how they stage manage that one and as there has been no announcement yet, they will have had to prepare something for continuity. It’s always pre-recorded a few weeks in advance anyway — do you think they might have done it before March? Or maybe she’ll be too ill? We’ll just have to wait and see but I’m really looking forward to finding out… and hear what she has to say for herself!!!! Ho Hum!
