Jon Stewart skewered “Mad Money” host and former hedge-fund manager Jim Cramer this Thursday on the “Daily Show” for turning financial calamity into entertainment and having been a contributory cause of that calamity.
Cramer admitted in 2006 that he regularly manipulated the market when he ran his hedge fund. He called it “a fun game and it’s a lucrative game.” He suggested all hedge fund managers do the same. “No one else in the world would ever admit that.”
He also called Wall Street Journal reporters “bozos” and said behaving illegally is okay because the SEC doesn’t understand it anyway.
Stewart berated Cramer during a lengthy interview.
Jon Stewart is one of the most outspoken of TV journalists (along with Maddow and Olbermann).
You may remember that Stewart’s tongue-lashing of Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala as “partisan hacks” on CNN’s “Crossfire” in 2004 undoubtedly led to their show being canceled.

Mark might be able to tell us if Stewart is being assisted by “White Knights” in tackling issues which the controlled media appear to be avoiding.
